Exercise & Play:
Mice and rats are very active creatures, if you do not give them enough play toys and things to do they will try to escape and may even hurt themselves, you should be sure to supply it with things like play wheels, chew toys toilette paper rolls, plastic tubes, and other stuff to keep them happy and content. If you want to remove your pet rat or mouse from its cage you should have an enclosed area for him ready or be sure you can hold onto him properly, be sure to follow later on instructions on picking your pet up.
